Background
1981 - sculpted marble in Carrara, Italy : worked in a studio with foreign sculptors and Italian artisans.
1983 - Received a scholarship from the Italian Government to study at the Academia di Belle Arte Completed studies in Carrara, Italy.
1984 - December 1984 - Continued working at Carrara.
1985 - Studied the art scene in the United States of America at New York, Chicago, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
1996 - Brief study - tour of China, visiting Beijing, Xian, Guilin and Hong Kong
1998 - 2 months working at Studio Nicoli - Carrara, Italy 1 month travelling in western Europe visiting artists including sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro in Milan.
2000 - Was invited to participate in the 1st International Sculpture Symposium in Caunes-Minervois, France
2001 - Was selected to participate in the inaugural Encuentro Internacional de Escultura in Tudela de Duero, Spain
2002 - Participated in an International Sculpture Symposium in Almazan - Spain
2003 - Participated in the 6th International Sculpture Symposium in Icheon City, South Korea
2004 - Participated in an International Sculpture Symposium in Fuertaventura, Canary Islands
